LIGATT: Snake Oil Security

LIGATT has been getting thoroughly raped by Attrition (along with every real hacker out there).  Gregory D. Evans claims to be the “World’s #1 Hacker”. But, as Attrition shows, he’s all (very loud) talk. His own websites are Swiss cheese, so how can he be trusted to secure anybody else’s website? Most the links at the bottom of http://www.ligattsecurity.com/ go to http://www.ligattsecurity.com/solutions/ligatt-security-suite/something, but going to http://www.ligattsecurity.com/solutions/ligatt-security-suite/anything will result in the response below.

Kind of a big error to overlook when that path is supposed to serve up the majority of links to your products. Shitty website, shitty apps, broken apps, vulnerable apps, XSS, #1 wat? I mean, the password he’s using on the spoofem PHP Live! page is all of 8 characters, no capitals, and an extremely guessable noun, with 2 of the same number tacked on the end. That’s not even half-assing your password, that’s doing the bare minimum.

Naturally one can only expect the same quality of work from his “security” company…

Might also mean his server is Swiss cheese. Remember Microsoft and many other peoples’ websites have been hacked, too.

    Just saying.
